Brussels serves as headquarters for NATO, the European Commission, the European Council, and dozens of EU agencies. The city's role as the EU's legislative hub means it hosts the most intense lobbying environment outside Washington DC. The EU AI Office — responsible for implementing the AI Act — is based here.
